We live in a lovely place, between the Mediterranean sea and the volcano. Our family winery has a 40 years long history, which allowed us to deeply understand the uniqueness of this terroir. We decided to represent it through an organic farming, faithful to the practices and to the culture of ancestral winemakers, from the terraces to the bush-trained vines. We only cultivate the local varieties to remain, thanks also to our oenologist Luca D’Attoma, as closer as possible to the essence of Etna.

We’ve been the first winery on Etna to obtain in 2000 the organic certification. But, producing our wines by organically cultivating our vineyards is not enough for us to be sustainable. This is why we decided to implement a series of sustainability actions that involve our work all over the year.

We are in the heart of Etna DOC, an appellation that protects the specific products of an area that is deeply different from the rest of Sicily. This is exactly what we wish to represent with our wines, working with precision and foresight in this specific contest. We cultivate 10 hectares of vineyards in Viagrande at Contrada Blandano, between 450 and 500 m.a.s.l This place is filled with history, here wine has been produced since the Roman and Greek age and we still preserve an ancient millstone dated 1700. In 2020 the terraces of Contrada Praino have been added to the historic vineyard, a new plant about 2 hectares in Milo, to produce “Etna Bianco Superiore”.
